The Wilhelm Wagenfeld WA 24 table lamp was designed and manufactured in 1924 by the namesake product designer at the Bauhaus metal workshop in Weimar. Today, TECNOLUMEN offers a reproduction of this timeless lamp, known as the Bauhaus lamp or Wagenfeld lamp. The designer himself granted a personal license for this lamp to Walter Schnepel, the founder of TECNOLUMEN. This table lamp was developed under the guidance of Bauhaus teacher László Moholy-Nagy by the pioneer of industrial design, Wilhelm Wagenfeld (1900-1990). Although it was intended to look like an industrial product, it was initially manufactured by hand. The shape of the table lamp can be described as elegant. The stable round base is made of nickel-plated or black-painted metal, or transparent glass. Above the vertical rod, a semi-circular glass lampshade is attached. This table lamp, equipped with a pull switch, is relatively small at a height of 36 cm, making it suitable for placement on side tables or windowsills. By using a 57 W halogen bulb, it produces direct and diffused light. However, transparent glass bulbs cannot be used as they cast shadows on the opal glass.

The Wagenfeld table lamp WA 24, which won the "Good Form" award from the Federal Republic of Germany in 1982, is often imitated, leading TECNOLUMEN to decide to mark its products. Each table lamp is assigned a consecutive number and is stamped with the Bauhaus and TECNOLUMEN logos. The company produces a total of 4 variations of this table lamp model, all based on Wagenfeld's original design.
